Dandenong Family Lawyers (formerly known as Robin Harrison & Associates) is a long-established, respected Family Law firm located next to the Family Law Court in Dandenong.
Director and Lawyer
Petra has a background in psychology and teaching and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in psychology and teaching in 1975. Following 5 years of teaching, she became a Registered Psychologist working in both education and in hospitals.
She was admitted to the legal profession in January 2000. Petra commenced working as a Family Lawyer with Andersons Solicitors in Adelaide.
She relocated to Melbourne in 2001 and worked at Ann.E. Gambetta Solicitors in Croydon as a Family Lawyer before taking over the practice of Robin Harrison & Associates in Dandenong in 2011.
The practice of Robin Harrison & Associates then became Dandenong Family Lawyers in 2014.
Jenny Nicholls was admitted to practice in Victoria in 1984 and began specialising in Family Law a year later.
In 1994, Jenny commenced working with Harrison Clements Hannan and, in 1999, moved with Robin Harrison when the practice of Robin Harrison & Associates was established.
Jenny regularly appears at Court for her own clients in Family Law matters and also appears as an agent for other practices.
In 1996, Jenny accepted her first appointment as a Child Representative and has since continued as a member of the Child Representatives Panel (now known as the Independent Children's Lawyer Panel). Accordingly, she also appears in Court as an Independent Children's Lawyer for children.
Office Manager and Senior Law Clerk
Kamila graduated from a Bachelor of Criminology and Justice in 2016 and is currently undertaking a Graduate Degree in Law at Deakin University.
Kamila is passionate about Family Law and has been part of the team as both a senior paralegal and an office manager, assisting our lawyers and clients since 2017. Prior to being with Dandenong Family Lawyers, Kamila worked in Criminal Law. Kamila provides extensive experience to the Family Law team.
Upon completion of Kamila's degree, she aspires to be practising in Family and Criminal Law as a solicitor to gain experience, before going to the bar.
Roderick joined the firm in 2018 as a Law Clerk. He is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Laws and aims to finish his degree in 2020.
Roderick has a strong interest in all areas of Family Law and assists our lawyers in a range of matters, including but not limited to Property Settlements, Children’s Matters and Divorces. He also occasionally assists with Conveyancing, Wills and Probates.
In his free time, Roderick enjoys camping, martial arts and trying new things. He likes to set big, lofty goals, and is currently planning to ride his bike to Darwin.
Ambha has been with Dandenong Family Lawyers since the beginning of 2019. She is currently completing a Bachelor in Commerce and Global Studies at Monash University, with her hoping to finish with a degree in Laws and Global Studies.
Ambha has been working in Family Law as a legal administrator since 2017, assisting with the production of documents in relation to Children's matters, Divorces, Property and Conveyancing, as well as general administrative support.
In her free time, Ambha volunteers at various charities and she suffers from an addiction to shopping and chocolate.
